One look at your C8 Corvette's front bumper and you realize something is missing. Next to another mid-engine corvette with a front lip spoiler you can see the difference immediately! A front splitter enhances and complements the styling cues of the aggressive front clip of the Corvette.

The C8 7VM Front Splitter is our most advanced splitter design for the C8 Corvette. The winglet on either end of the Corvette's front lip is reminiscent of an upside down seven, and coupled with the 1VM & 5VM naming convention, the 7VM was a natural progression for our newest splitter.

The jagged edge of the shark-like winglet is a nod to the design elements found throughout the C8 such as the nose of the front bumper, and large side inlets. The 7VM winglet was designed and created to bring cohesiveness between these elements.

How it's made

It is made in PC Composite, which is a blend created by ACS used via plastic injection. The result is a black molded part with extreme resistance to heat and scraping capabilities. Ideal for splitter applications. We find this to be an optimal choice for owners looking for something they can daily drive and bring to the track.

Since the entire splitter is a black composite, chips and scrapes do not show through as they would on a Carbon Fiber or fiberglass unit, which will typically have a white substrate and are more brittle in comparison. 

Surface finish

The 7VM ground effects are top-coated in an original Carbon Flash Metallic Black (CFZ) paint finish. Carbon Flash Black can be identified by the signature silver metallic flake in the paint. Developed and used by GM on the C8 Corvette, this is the ideal surface finish to select for ground effects. It will match all C8 Corvette accent pieces on the Corvette including the front grill, rear diffuser, and more. Carbon Flash Metallic Black is highly recommended by us for any Corvette parts.

How to install

How easy is it to install a splitter on a C8 Corvette? It is one of the easiest mods or accessory you could put on your C8. There is no bodyshop or extensive experience needed. 

To install the ACS C8 7VM Front Splitter you will remove the OEM T15 screws already in place on your Corvette (for both Non-Z51 & Z51 cars), position the splitter and re-install the T15 screws. Be sure to check out of our install video by scrolling below to the "Installation" tab.
