C8 Rockers | 5VM Carbon Flash Black

The 5VM side skirts are iconic of the C8 Corvette. The signature winglet on the back of the rocker lets other Corvette owners that it's a 5VM Rocker. Similar to the RPO code 5W8, the side rockers are painted in Carbon Flash Black. This is the missing piece of the puzzle if you already own the ACS-5VM splitter.

The ACS-5VM Rocker is similar to the OEM counterpart, but we improved its design by creating an undertray extension to the side rocker. This offer two major advantages;

1. It covers the rolled painted body panel (underneath the C8), which is expensive to repair and prone to chipping.
2. It offers leverage to support the 5VM style wing. The OEM version required a 6mm hole to be drilled on the side panel. The ACS version does not require a side hole to be drilled. While the rest of the aftermarket relied on double-sided tape as a quick fix, we developed a rocker bracket and extended the underside to correct the design, making it fail-proof and reversible. (Drilled holes would not be visible in car position if rocker is removed).

How it installs

Installed using a supplied rocker bracket and aluminum black split rivets. No visible drilled holes if side rockers are ever removed.

How it is made

Manufactured in our new PC Composite material it is much more durable than any fiberglass, carbon, or ABS parts ever offered to the Corvette Enthusiast.

The result is a black molded part with extreme resistance to heat and scraping. The substrate is black, which means no visible chipping or scrapes showing trough.

Why Carbon Flash Black

Carbon Flash Black or CFZ is a black paint finish with a silver metallic flake in the paint. From far it appears as a gloss black finish; however, upon closer inspection, a silver metallic flake can be seen inside the paint finish. CFZ matches all C8 Corvette accent pieces on the Corvette including the front grill, rear diffuser, and more. Carbon Flash Metallic Black is highly recommended by us for any Corvette parts.
