1997-2004 986 Porsche Boxster Wind Screen , Deflector , Blocker
Product Description
What you get: One easy to replace windscreen for your 1997-2004 986 Porsche. The shield can be laser etched from the back side (cabin side) and the vinyl decal is applied to the outside of this windscreen. You must have the factory frame for our shield to fit into. If you are unsure if this will fit YOUR car please message us a photo of what you have there now and we will let you know.
Years Fit: 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 convertibles only.
Options: You may also request this item with no etching, no decal. You may also request another logo or words to be etched or color of the Porsche decal. We make these to order so what ever you would like we can do for you. We also offer this windscreen in a smoked / tinted color.
Shipping time: This is custom made so please allow 1-1.5 weeks for us to make this for you then we will ship the item.
Installation: Very Simply. Start by removing your old factory black mesh screen or clear plastic deflector from the car then remove the deflector from the frame. Slide your new deflector into the frame the same way your old one came out. If the new blocker moves around at all or you feel it is loose, all you need to do is add some clear silicone dabs in about 6 spots evenly around and in the frame groove before you put the deflector in. When dry the deflector will not move around anymore. You might have noticed even on the factory blocker there was some black silicon that the factory adds to keep theirs locked in as well.
NOTE: Our windscreen will only fit your Boxster if you already had a factory windscreen and or the brackets installed. If you do not have this please let us know as we do sell these items too.
