C7 Corvette Z06 - aFe Momentum Pro 5R Air Intake System

The all new aFe Momentum sealed intake system for 2015+ Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C7) with the V8-6.2L supercharged engine. This all new Momentum sealed intake system outflowed the factory intake by up to 25%. Preliminary dyno results indicated gains up to 37HP and 33 lbs-ft torque. This all new highly engineered intake system uses a smooth one-piece housing that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. The CAD designed intake tube is engineered to unleash all available horsepower and to fit perfectly. The system uses a unique filter-to-housing interface that enables us to use the largest filter possible while maintaining a simple hassle-free installation. The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware.

Like the original C7 kit, it is available in either a high performance oiled Pro 5R filter media, or an "oil-free" Pro DRY S filter media, with larger differences in power in regards to air flow compared to the non-supercharged Momentum kit. 

Pro 5R Media: (54-74201 - Blue Filter)
This filter features 5-layers of progressive, oiled media to provide maximum flow with excellent filtration. The progressive layering of media allows the filter to flow at high levels even when dirty. The progressive layering of media allows the filter to flow at high levels even when dirty. The Pro 5R filter media has been tested at 98.6% efficient.

Pro DRY S Media: (51-74201 - White Filter) 
This filter features 3-layers of progressive media to provide maximum flow with excellent filtration. The progressive layering of media allows the filter to flow at high levels even when dirty. The Pro DRY S non-oiled synthetic air filter requires no oils for cleaning for maximum convenience.

Unique One-Piece Housing w/ Sight Window:
The one-piece sealed housing is used to eliminate the use of multiple components and ensure the coolest air intake charge available. A large clear sight window allows for filter inspection without removal of the air box. The roto-molded housing is made out of black cross-linked polyethylene and mounts directly into the factory location on the fender well to capture the coolest air available from the factory intake tract.

Roto-molded Tube:
This system uses a CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. This tube has a built-in resonance chamber to catch un-wanted air intake noises. Two billet aluminum fittings are mounted on the tube to provide a perfect connection with the factory vacuum lines.

Massive Cone Air Filter:
This Momentum intake system was designed around the largest filter possible to allow maximum performance and filtration. This cone filter has a massive 7" oval flange and is 9-1/2" tall Pro 5R filter media. The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze oiled media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane frame for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
 
Premium Hardware: 
Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a  reinforced silicone hump coupler are used for strength and durability while also providing the most secure installation available. Momentum intakes are designed with fewer parts for a quick and simple installation.

Proven Results:
After a rigorous design and testing phase, the results are in. The Momentum air intake system outflowed the factory intake by 42% and resulted in 18 additional horsepower and 22 lbs. x ft. torque.

Our test car put out 601.7HP and 604.0lbs. x ft of torque on 91 octane with just the intake on stock tuning on our in-house DynoJet.
